Buenos Aires, December 11 (NA) -- The Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a monthly increase of 2.5% in November 2025, accumulating a year-on-year variation of 31.4%. The technical report from INDEC revealed that the 'Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels' division had the highest monthly increase at 3.4%, followed by Transport with 3.0%. According to what Argentine News Agency learned, although Housing and Transport led the percentage variations, the category with the greatest impact on the overall regional CPI level was 'Food and non-alcoholic beverages'.

Products That Rose the Most in the GBA In the Greater Buenos Aires (GBA) region, the price dynamics of the basic basket showed a strong impact from fruits, meats, and seasonal vegetables, according to the monthly variation details from INDEC:

The Impact of Regulated Prices and Services At the category level, Regulated prices (which include tariffs and public transport) led the monthly increase with 2.9%. Core CPI: The prices of the Core CPI (which excludes regulated and seasonal items) rose by 2.6%. Services vs. Goods: Services had a variation of 2.9% nationwide, while Goods increased by 2.3%.
